Explore the world of theatre as a place where we can put ourselves in others’ shoes. Through expressing others, we can also express ourselves, and find our common ground. Discover the artist in you.

Using our stories in Debate – Instructor, Ms. Heather Erickson
Storytelling and Debate are two vital links between the individual and the world around them. Through storytelling we can allow others to share our experiences, we can listen to those who went through the holocaust, the fight for civil rights or the depression and we can learn from the history and humanity contained in their stories. Through
our use of debating skills, we learn to take our stories and use the power of our voice to speak on the things we believe in; we learn to voice our opinions, to make strong arguments and to help shape the world that we live in.

Photo Journalism – Instructor, Mr. Paul Niwa
Each day in newspapers and magazines, thousands and thousands of stories are told through pictures. In this mini class, students will use pictures to capture stories of others.
