Public Speaking – Instructor, Ms. Cathryn Edelstein
Change happens one person at a time. Often change happens because someone has stood up for what they believe in and others have taken notice. In this class, we will examine two famous speeches in history that have changed the way society thinks. Martin Luther King and Mary Fisher were speakers who chose to be bold and use their ‘voices’ to make a difference. Like these great people, you will have a chance to take a stand for what you believe in and use your ‘voice’ to change our minds about a something you find important. Be prepared to think ‘outside the box’ and influence us with ideas you have that you think we should all consider.
